THE CENTRAL Platte Natural Resources District is seeking a Habitat Specialist. This position is located in the USDA Service Center in Grand Island, NE. This is a 3-year position with the opportunity for extension pending funding. Duties include providing information to interested landowners, assisting with appropriated program applications, site evaluations, inspections and mapping. Knowledge of wetland habitat and wildlife management required. Excellent communication and organizational skills required as well as superior customer service.
