Overview

Howard County Roads Department is taking applications for a full-time permanent employee with clean driving record. Heavy equipment experience preferred. Will work independently and in group setting. Responsible for the tasks necessary to maintain county roads and bridges, haul gravel, service equipment, cut trees and spray road ditches. Mechanical and welding skills a plus. Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain. Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests. Excellent benefits. Deadline for applications is Oct. 23.
