Overview

Jewell County Sheriff’s Office has a position available for a day shift dispatcher. Work hours are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dispatchers work a set schedule and must be available for weekends and holidays.

Benefits include: KPERS Retirement, Family BC/BS of Kansas Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vacation and Sick PTO and 10 paid holidays.

Candidates shall not have any felony, domestic violence, serious misdemeanor convictions, and/or other criminal or civil legal action pending, Be of good moral character, must be a U.S. citizen, must be at least 18 years of age, possess at least a high school diploma or GED and Possess a valid driver’s license.
